One way you can step into Christmas before you visit us, is to seek out nearby events that are centred around getting you, your family or that special person feeling festive. Here are our top five.
Christmas at Bolesworth
Bolesworth is putting on a Christmas extravaganza this year. Located close to Tattenhall, Christmas at Bolesworth promises to be a magical time for all the family. Consisting of a display of colourful, sparkling lights, Santa’s grotto, an ice rink and plenty of scenic walking routes, as well as a Christmas market, the estate will be transformed into a winter wonderland for you to explore.
Chester Christmas market
Chester Christmas market is the perfect place to spend time when you’re looking to experience the first Christmassy sights, smells and sounds of 2021. It’s free to enter and there are plenty of stands to explore!
Set up opposite the city’s cathedral, the wooden stalls make you feel like you’re wandering round an authentic alpine Christmas market. From chocolate to beer to crafts, this market really does have something for everyone. Don’t fill up too much, though – you don’t want to spoil your dinner at the Swan!
Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet
Some retail therapy is always welcome come Christmas time, and Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet is the perfect place to pick up some goodies and work up an appetite.
More than just a retail park, Cheshire Oaks has a host of Christmas-exclusives for you to enjoy, such as the infinitely Instagrammable Christmas tree. The retail park has even got its own winter wonderland and Christmas market!
Taste Cheshire Christmas Weekender
The perfect place to wet your taste buds before visiting us, Taste Cheshire’s Christmas Weekender at the Grosvenor Shopping Centre is the perfect place to sample some treats. There’s a range of local produce and gifts to choose from and to share with your family and friends.
Starting on the 9th December, it’s a three day event that promises to cover all foods and drinks, from mulled wine to mince pies.
Christmas at Delamere Forest
Delamere Forest is going to be the backdrop for a fantastic, illuminated trail which will be full of seasonal sounds and promises to bring Christmas joy to all the family. Discover sparkling tunnels, walk under giant baubles and stroll beneath trees drenched in jewel-like colour. If you have children, make sure they keep their eyes peeled for Father Christmas, because you never know – he might make an appearance… You can then stay over in one of our rooms while you recover from all the festive excitement.
